Dr. Emery is a native Knoxvillian. He attended the University of the South, graduating with a BA in 1998. He attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry where he received his DDS in May 2002. He received his MD from the University of Florida College of Medicine in May 2005 and completed his general surgery residency and residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Florida and its affiliated hospitals in 2008. Dr. Emery enjoys all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery and focuses on the management/removal of impacted teeth, dental implants, hard and soft tissue grafting, facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, management of oral pathology and surgical management of the TMJ. Dr. Emery is affiliated with several regional hospitals including The University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Parkwest Medical Center and East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, where he is a member of the Cleft and Craniofacial Team.
Dr. Emery is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is also a member of several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Tennessee Medical Association, among others.
In his free time, Dr. Emery enjoys spending time with family, fly-fishing, golf and UT athletics.
Michael D. Wooten, DDS
Dr. Wooten grew up in Knoxville and attended West High School. He attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and went to dental school at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis, TN. After dental school, he completed a one-year anesthesia fellowship at the University of Florida and a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Florida.Dr. Wooten is on the medical staff at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, Parkwest Medical Center and the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Dr. Wooten is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of the Second District Dental Society, Tennessee Dental Association, American Dental Association, Tennessee Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Southeastern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a fellow in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Wooten enjoys golfing and spending time on Norris Lake with his family. He has been in private practice for over 20 years.
Nicole C. Eisenberg, DDS
Dr. Eisenberg grew up in Memphis and attended Briarcrest Christian School and then Samford University in Birmingham, AL, graduating with a BS in 1999. She attended the University Of Tennessee College Of Dentistry where she received her DDS in May 2003. After Dental School, she completed a four-year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital-Saint Raphael Campus, in 2007.
Dr. Eisenberg just completed nine years of service as a Commander in the United States Navy. Her time included work as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Naval Hospital Portsmouth, Virginia from July 2007 to July 2009. She then served as the Assistant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program Director for a time during her three years at Naval Medical Center, San Diego, CA. In July 2012, she moved to Okinawa, Japan where she served as the Dental Department Head and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Naval Hospital Okinawa. In her last tour, she served at Branch Health Clinic, Washington Navy Yard where she worked as the Dental Department Head and then Officer in Charge. During her time in the service, she volunteered for multiple temporary assignments, serving aboard the USS George Washington (CVN-73), at Naval Hospital, Naples, Italy, and at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base when Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons were requested. Her personal military awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon.
Dr. Eisenberg is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. She is also member of serval professional organizations including the American Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
In her free time she enjoys time with her family, running, and traveling.
